About Us

Ron Fitzpatrick's artistic journey began in the early '80s, creating handmade knives and Tai Chi Dancing swords in a small shop in Melbourne.

Always looking for new inspiration, he made the move to Sydney, where he became interested in decorative blacksmithing. He opened a shop in Norton Street, Leichhardt, and for the next ten years made hand-forged wrought iron furniture, ornate balustrades and commissioned pieces for such world class hotels as ANA in Sydney.

Ron Soon felt the need, however for a more peaceful lifestyle and so moved to the beautiful blue Mountains.

Consequently his work took a different turn, reflecting his interest in meditation. Since then, Ron has been concentrating on making objects which have great beauty, yet are still fun and practical. His work features regularly in Vogue, country Style, Belle, House and Garden and has appeared in major films such as "Babe 2: Pig in the city". Visit his gallery and see the artist and his work - deep on a journey that still continues.
